Oi! Hello you lot.

Most of you that visit here have known me for years, but someone did come along the other day, who hadn’t been here before, nor had he been to those other places where I have hung out.

So, it seems that I had better tell you all a little about myself from back along, so that there is no misunderstandings.  Right!

It all started about seven years ago when a bloke I call ‘is Nibs started to tell stories about me on another website. Obviously, people became interested in me, and started to write to me. Equally obviously, I replied. Before long I was more important than ‘is Nibs. He decided to write some of the stories down and got  a friend of his - Mista Alan - to draw pictures.

You need to know that I was already 95 years old when they started writing and drawing my stories. So now, I am 102. Gnomes do not age as quickly as other folks - my Mum for example is 235 and “good for many years more,” she tells me.

The rest is history. It has taken far to long for them to get those stories about me and my friends made into a book, but they have finally managed it. I too have started to issue proper stamps instead of the ones that I used to draw myself and stick onto letters. Also, now that I work in the Post Office at Fidgety Forest,  I have started to issue other stamps from interesting places.
